Can your make-up brushes be causing your acne? DIY Coconut Oil Make-Up Brush Cleaner

I think make-up brushes might be one of the most overlooked contributors when it comes to acne.Make-up brushes can be a breeding ground for all types of bacteria – not to mention a great home for oil, dust, dead skin, sweat and residual makeup that can clog pores and lead to skin irritation (especially the brushes that are exposed to cream products like liquid foundation, concealer etc.)

If you are using dirty brushes, you will be re-depositing the bacteria back on to your face.

By ensuring your beauty tools are regularly cleaned, you can significantly reduce the transmission of excess bacteria onto your face and prevent future breakouts.

Using clean makeup brushes should be just as important as washing your face!
