What are night shade vegetables?
The most common night shade vegetables are tomatoes, potatoes, eggplants and peppers.
It is important to know that nightshade vegetables can only worsen inflammation if the person is sensitive to solanine (a compound in these vegetables). It goes for any food sensitivity really – if you eat foods you are sensitive/allergic to, you will have more inflammation.
