Dark chocolate walnut peanut butter brownie recipe

Because healthy doesn’t have to be boring.


1 cup organic peanut butter

1 egg

1 tsp pure vanilla extract

1.5 tsp baking soda

1 tsp salt

3 tbsp of almond flour

1/2 cup walnuts

1/3 cup coconut palm sugar

As many dark chocolate chips as you desire

Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease an 8-inch baking pan with coconut oil and set aside. In a mixing bowl, mix wet ingredients. In a separate mixing bowl, stir together the baking soda, salt, almond flour, coconut sugar, and chocolate chips. Pour the dry ingredients into the wet and fold them in together. Once combined, fold in walnuts and chocolate chips. Transfer the batter into the prepared pan, and smooth down evenly with a spatula. Bake 10 minutes. Leave them to cool for at least 20 minutes to allow them to firm on the outside.
