Getting your steps in

Walking around exploring and doing errands is my main form of cardio (usually taking around 15,000 steps per day)

Whether it’s starting your day with a walk, walking after a meal or ending your night with a walk – walking can have insanely positive effects on your overall health.

Some of the benefits?

1. Improved digestion

2. Lower blood glucose levels (very beneficial tool for those who are at risk for diabetes)

3. Increased metabolism

4. Improved blood circulation and lymphatic drainage

5. Aids in weight management

How can you increase the amount of steps you take daily?

It’s as simple as walking instead of driving. If you need to drive, park at a further parking spot than you normally would. Take the stairs instead of the elevator.
