It’s important to know that our hormones actually dictate almost every part of our lives.
Our hormones are chemical messengers that transfer information from one place in our body to another, which means our hormones regulate what the calories we eat will actually do within our body, the state of our immune system and even our behaviour.
What are common signs of a hormonal imbalance?
- Unusual weight gain, predominant belly fat and/or loss of muscle mass.
This is usually due to insulin resistance and/or a cortisol imbalance.
- Poor sleep patterns or insomnia.
This is usually due to a cortisol imbalance.
- Chronic fatigue.
