Unfortunately, most sushi isn’t “healthy” as most of the sushi rice contains high amounts of sugar – but there are definitely better options you can choose that are healthier!
I personally like sashimi (just the fish without the rice), but somehow I ended up with the rice with a generous amount of wasabi tucked underneath because of language barrier (sinuses are totally cleared now though)
I also don’t use soy sauce (read previous post as to why I don’t consume much soy in my diet). If you’re eating sushi regularly at home, a great alternative to soy sauce is coconut aminos (it tastes exactly like soy sauce, but a lot more beneficial for you)
I also ask for extra ginger because it’s my favourite and obv for the anti-inflammatory health benny’s too.
